D. Brady Woodbury, MPH
Administrator

Brady has served as the Administrator of ACHD since 2011 and has worked in Public Health since 2001. He has a Master of Public Health degree (MPH) and Bachelor of Science in Health Education. Brady has extensive experience in Public Health Emergency Preparedness, Environmental Health and Community Health Education.  

Outside of work, Brady enjoys riding his bike, visiting his grandkids, and going on camping trips with his wife and dogs.

Bob Lutz, MD, MPH
Local Public Health Officer

Dr. Bob Lutz has worked with ACHD since 2018. He has more than 30 years of clinical experience as a Family Medicine Physician. Dr. Lutz holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) and a Doctor of Medicine (MD), as is required by Washington State Law to be a Health Officer.  Dr. Lutz provides leadership for the protection of public health, enforcement of public health regulations and serves as an advisor on matters affecting community health.

Outside of work, Dr. Lutz enjoys camping, trail running, traveling to remote locations, and spending time with his animals.

Samantha Bingman
Office Tech

Samantha has worked at ACHD as the Office Tech since January, 2024, helping the community and each department as she is needed. She earned her BA in English from LCSC in 2015, and after eight years in education has been privileged to continue work helping people in the public health capacity.

Outside of work, Samantha enjoys spending time with her husband and pets, traveling, reading, and dabbling in the fiber arts.

Peggy Burch
Program Manager – Financial & Human Resources

Peggy has worked at ACHD since 2020 and is the Program Manager for Financial and HR. She has a Bachelor of Science degree from University of Idaho in Human Resource Management and Information Systems. Having previously worked for international production companies, she is excited to be working in the community. Peggy ensures that ACHD completes financial reports due to Washington State, processes Public Records requests and supports employees as Human Resources.  

Outside of work, Peggy enjoys hiking with her family and dog, gardening, mountain biking and skiing.

Amy Finney
Environmental Health Assistant

Amy has worked at ACHD since 2023 as an Environmental Health Assistant. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Family and Consumer Science from the University of Idaho. Amy focuses on food safety, including food inspections and works with restaurant managers to ensure food safety standards are followed.

Outside of work, Amy enjoys traveling, recreating in the outdoors, spending time with friends and family, and supporting her kids in their extracurricular activities.

Lora Gittins
Program Manager – Community Health

Lora has worked at ACHD since 2015 and is the Program Manager for Community Health, overseeing WIC, Maternal Child Health (MCH), Children and Youth with Special Health Care Needs (CYSHCN) and a variety of community health programs. In addition, Lora has worked on the Community Health Assessment (CHA) and is working on the Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP).  

Outside of work, Lora enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, camping, reading books, listening to podcasts, gardening and playing with her family’s two dogs.

Laurie Hersey, M.Ed
Outreach Specialist

Laurie has worked at ACHD since 2023 as the Outreach Specialist. She joined ACHD after 32 years as a Special Education teacher, with a focus on Autism. Laurie has her Master of Curriculum and Instruction degree from Eastern Washington University and her Bachelor of Science degree from Lewis-Clark State College. She grew up in the LC Valley and recently moved back. As an Outreach Specialist, Laurie is dedicated to increasing community awareness about immunizations, creating guides for local resources and building new programs.  

Outside of work, Laurie enjoys gardening, camping, cross country skiing, snowshoeing and taking her dogs on hikes.

Collin Jurries
Environmental Health Specialist

Collin has worked at ACHD since 2020 as the Environmental Health Specialist. After graduating from Asotin-Anatone High School, he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Science from Lewis-Clark State College.  Collin is currently working towards becoming credentialed with the National Environmental Health Association as a Registered Environmental Health Specialist.  He oversees the Environmental Health division of ACHD which includes on-site sewage, solid waste, food safety, lead education to families, potential rabies exposures and syringe collection.  

​Outside of work, Collin enjoys time at the gym, kickboxing, jiu-jitsu, doing home improvement projects, training his bulldog Paul, and playing on the Snake River.

Maurine Nicholson
Program Specialist- Community Health​

Maurine has worked at ACHD since 2018 and is the Program Specialist for Community Health. Maurine worked as a dental assistant and office manager for over 25 years before moving to the LC Valley. During the emergency declaration period for COVID-19, she was the main contact tracer and provides ongoing guidance to schools, long term care facilities and individuals.  Maurine especially enjoys her work with WIC and getting to support growing families. 
 
Outside of work, Maurine and her husband enjoy exploring the area, outdoor activities, gardening and playing with their two black labs.

Beth Usher, M.Ed
Health Educator, Public Health Emergency Preparedness 

Beth has worked at ACHD since 2022 as a Health Educator and in the Public Health Emergency Preparedness program. She has a Master of Education degree from University of San Diego and Bachelor degree from University of California, Santa Barbara. Beth was a middle and high school teacher for 10 years before transitioning to public health. She is growing the PHEP program and manages the website and social media for ACHD.  

Outside of work, Beth enjoys reading, photography, hiking, and spending time with her dog and husband.
